In view of the difficulties in monitoring air leakage rate, quality segregation of thick material layer, maximum utilization of waste heat and flue gas emission of Rizhao 500㎡ sintering machine, the project team studied and established the air leakage rate detection model, cooperated with universities to study the segregation performance of 980mm thick material layer, analyzed the FeO formation behavior and alkali content of sinter, analyzed the change law of metallurgical properties of sinter, etc. Innovated the assembly form of the lining plate of the mixer, optimized the flue gas treatment technology of CFB semi-dry method +SCR system, formed 4 invention patents, 1 utility model patent, published 2 papers, and achieved good results.

After the completion of the project, the air leakage rate of the sintering system was reduced to less than 30%, and the waste heat generation was increased by 1.31kwh/t. The sintering machine realizes the production of 980mm ultra-thick material layer, reduces the solid fuel consumption by 2.40kg/t, reduces the blast furnace return powder by 22.70kg/t, and the sintering flue gas emission reaches the ultra-low emission standard of Shandong, and the quality of the sintered mineral meets the needs of stable and forward production of the blast furnace, and the annual economic benefits are hundreds of millions of yuan.
